Typing is basically useless because it doesn't know where I am touching. Otherwise, the device seems to be working pretty well, so I don't think I'm in need of replacement. I'll give it a try if I can ever unlock it. Now, the swipe is working so I at least get to the pass code screen. Problem is, it's double-reading (or misreading) every entry, so it's difficult to enter the pass code. EDIT 1: Figures, after 20 minutes (off and on) of just trying to unlock it, it's working perfectly fine now. EDIT 2: Spoke way too soon and it's not reading my finger again. EDIT 3: Did a factory reset. Did absolutely no good as I couldn't even type in my email address to register the kindle.
